Online Forum

One of the most valuable benefits of membership is access to our online BigTent forum and private Facebook group.  Here members can post questions and exchange ideas.  Members also have access to our message archive full of invaluable information about childcare, breastfeeding, schools, rainy day activities, and just about everything in-between.  In addition to the discussion forum, both BigTent and Facebook access also includes a calendar of our upcoming events, free classifieds, our membership roster and Tent Mail.

Monthly Meetings (September-May)

Each month HCMOM hosts a club gathering at Hunterdon Medical Center.  The meeting is organized around a particular topic or speaker.  At each meeting we review club business and provide time for members to socialize and foster friendships.

Playdates and Outings

Through organized tours, playground outings and gatherings at members’ homes, HCMOM members have many opportunities to meet other parents and provide social interaction for their kids.  Most playdates and outings are open to kids of all ages and siblings are always welcome.

Are you interested in hosting a playdate or meetup in your home or neighborhood? We are always looking for hosts to help organize and host events throughout Hunterdon.  Hosting duties are easy; all you need to do is to commit to attend your event, greet club members and help make everyone feel welcome.  You choose the location and time that works for you! This is a great way to give back to the club AND make new friends with families of multiples.  If you would like to host a playdate or outing, please email [email protected]

Family Events

HCMOM hosts many family-friendly events, including our annual Halloween party, spring Egg hunt, summer picnic, and more. Most events are free to members and include activities for children of all ages.

Parents-Only Activities

We know that getting out of the house for adults-only interaction in a huge part of maintaining your sanity as a parent of multiples. Currently, HCMOM facilitates a support group and girls night out!

Meals

Another great service offered by HCMOM is our Meal program. We know how hard it is to find time to sleep or eat when you have newborns.  We try to make life a little bit easier by delivering a delicious, nutritious and ready-to-eat meal to the homes of new parents and other families in need.  Meals are prepared and delivered by our members.

Club Newsletter

The HCMOM Newsletter includes information about upcoming events, interviews with member families, family-friendly recipes, birth announcements and much more!
